Kokan Bank Chairman inaugrated new premises of Khopoli Branch

Khopoli, Raigad, 24 October 2026: Kokan Mercantile Co-op Bank Ltd. inaugurated its new branch premises in Khopoli on Saturday. The inauguration was led by Chairman Asif Dadan in the presence of Vice Chairman Asgar Dabir, directors and senior bank officials.

Among those present were directors Bashir Murtuza, Altaf Qazi, Naved Roghey, Tasneem Qazi, Fareeda Qazi, Milind Kadlak, Maqbool Surve, Sajid Adhikari, Dilip Mujawar, Sameer Mulla and Farhan Walele. Board of Management members Abdul Kadar Muqadam, Anis Kazi and Imran Kazi also attended the programme.

The bank’s senior management was represented by CEO Akbar Kondkari, Deputy General Managers Abdus Sattar Shaikh and Noor Mohammad Mukadam, along with branch managers, officers, employees and ex employees. The programme was coordinated with the support of Sameer Mulla, Chairman of the Planning and Development Committee; Rafiq Shaikh, Head of the Planning and Development Department; and Rafiq Haju, Branch Manager.

Addressing the gathering, Chairman Asif Dadan said the bank’s deposits had reached approximately ₹915 crore and its total mixed business stood at around ₹1,500 crore. He added that the bank had absorbed its accumulated losses and recorded a profit of more than ₹7.18 crore in the previous financial year.

Dadan acknowledged the contribution of the Board, management, employees, ex employees and customers in the bank’s recovery. He also thanked depositors, customers and well-wishers for their continued trust and support.

The new Khopoli premises form part of the bank’s efforts to expand its branch network and improve access to banking services. The bank stated that it would continue to consolidate its financial position and work towards its objective of attaining scheduled bank status.
