Kriti Sanon to Attend World Summit 2026: From Bollywood Success to Skincare Entrepreneurship

Actor Kriti Sanon is set to participate in the 2026 World Summit in New Delhi on October 22 and 23, bringing her experience in cinema, film production and entrepreneurship to a gathering focused on major changes shaping the world. Over more than a decade, Sanon has established herself as a leading face in Hindi cinema while building business ventures beyond acting.

Her career reflects a shift from being known primarily for film performances to taking a more active role in business and content production. Through her skincare brand, fitness venture and production company, she has expanded her professional interests beyond the traditional boundaries of acting.

Kriti Sanon's Journey in the Film Industry

Sanon made her acting debut in 2014 with the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, starring Mahesh Babu. The same year, she entered Bollywood with Heropanti, in which she starred opposite Tiger Shroff.

She subsequently appeared in films across several genres, including Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi, Housefull 4, Bhediya, Crew and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Her filmography has included romantic comedies, mainstream entertainers and projects that offered her more substantial dramatic roles.

One of the most important performances of her career came in Mimi, the 2021 film in which she played a young woman who agrees to become a surrogate mother. The role earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress, announced in 2022. She also won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for the performance.

The recognition strengthened her standing in the industry and demonstrated her ability to take on roles beyond conventional commercial entertainment.

Building a Business Beyond Acting

Alongside her film career, Sanon has developed an interest in entrepreneurship. In July 2023, she launched Hyphen, a direct-to-consumer skincare brand established in partnership with PEP Technologies, the company behind mCaffeine.

The brand focuses on skincare products and has helped Sanon enter a competitive consumer market where digital marketing, product positioning and customer engagement play important roles.

Her move into business followed another entrepreneurial venture. In 2022, she co-founded The Tribe, a fitness-focused enterprise, expanding her interests into the wellness sector.

These initiatives reflect a broader trend among entertainment personalities who use their public profiles and industry experience to build businesses. However, operating a consumer brand also involves responsibilities beyond celebrity endorsements, including product development, customer service and long-term brand management.

Blue Butterfly Films and a Move Into Production

Sanon expanded her involvement in entertainment in 2023 by launching Blue Butterfly Films, her production company.

The venture produced Do Patti, a 2024 thriller released on Netflix. Sanon starred in the film alongside Kajol, taking on responsibilities as both an actor and a producer.

Film production allows performers to participate more directly in decisions about storytelling, casting and the development of projects. It also brings commercial and operational responsibilities that differ from those involved in acting alone.

For Sanon, the production company represents another avenue to develop projects and broaden her role within the film industry.

What to Expect From the 2026 Summit

The two-day summit in New Delhi will bring together political leaders, business executives, technology specialists, entrepreneurs and cultural figures to discuss international developments and India's evolving position in the world.

Its theme, “A World Between Orders,” centres on changes in established political, economic and technological systems and the questions these shifts raise for the future.

Sanon's participation adds an entertainment and entrepreneurship perspective to discussions that extend beyond traditional business and politics. Her career illustrates how public figures can build professional identities across multiple sectors, from creative work to consumer businesses.

As her film and business ventures continue to develop, Sanon's appearance at the summit will provide an opportunity to bring her experience in entertainment and enterprise into a wider conversation about influence, innovation and changing career paths.
