WWE Raw Ends With Shocking Twist as Champion Gets Pinned in Dramatic October 19 Episode

The October 19, 2026, episode of WWE Raw delivered unexpected developments, championship drama and intense rivalries as the company continued building towards Crown Jewel. The show featured a major confrontation between Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn and World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, alongside several competitive matches and a chaotic closing segment.

One of the night's most surprising moments came when WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green and IYO SKY defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez in a tag-team match. The result added another twist to the ongoing tensions involving the women's division.

The episode also saw Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable successfully defend his title in a Triple Threat Match against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. Meanwhile, Penta secured an important victory over Bron Breakker with unexpected assistance from Je’Von Evans.

Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns Face Off

The episode opened with Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn addressing his championship status before World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns joined him in the ring.

Their conversation quickly became confrontational. Reigns questioned Zayn's motivations and suggested that winning the Undisputed WWE Championship did not make him equal to the former champion. Zayn defended his achievement and made it clear that he intended to establish himself on his own terms.

The exchange raised questions about their relationship ahead of Crown Jewel. Reigns also warned that Zayn could lose his championship at the upcoming event, increasing the tension surrounding the title picture.

Penta subsequently appeared and reminded both champions that he held the Money in the Bank briefcase, leaving open the possibility of a future championship challenge.

Penta Defeats Bron Breakker With Unexpected Help

Penta faced Bron Breakker in one of the episode's most closely watched matches. Breakker looked to gain the advantage, but Je’Von Evans intervened when Austin Theory attempted to use Penta's briefcase.

Evans struck Breakker with the briefcase while the official was distracted, allowing Penta to capitalise and secure the victory with a Mexican Destroyer.

The outcome gave Penta an important win while adding uncertainty to the championship picture. His Money in the Bank contract could become a significant factor in upcoming title storylines.

Chelsea Green and IYO SKY Score a Surprise Victory

WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green teamed up with IYO SKY to take on Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

The match reached its decisive moment when Green delivered a high crossbody from the top rope, striking Perez and interfering Women's World Champion Liv Morgan at ringside. SKY then countered Rodriguez's attempt to finish the contest and secured the pinfall.

The victory gave Green and SKY momentum while further complicating the rivalries involving the women's champions and The Judgment Day.

Elsewhere, Lola Vice defeated Lyra Valkyria after Bayley created a distraction. The contest continued beyond the final bell when Valkyria and Bayley exchanged attacks, leading Bayley to challenge Valkyria to a No Disqualification Match for the following week's Raw.

Chad Gable Retains the Intercontinental Championship

Chad Gable defended the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in a Triple Threat Match.

The contest featured fast-paced action, with all three competitors attempting to secure the title. Gable ultimately used a timely counter against Mysterio to earn the pinfall and retain his championship.

However, the celebration did not last long. Ethan Page and Big Cass subsequently attacked Gable, Mysterio and Lee, introducing another potential rivalry into the Intercontinental Championship scene.

Roman Reigns Returns in Chaotic Closing Segment

The episode concluded with another confrontation between The Bloodline and the group known as The 946. As the two sides clashed, Roman Reigns made a surprise return to help The Usos and Solo Sikoa gain control of the situation.

His appearance brought the show to an intense close and reinforced the ongoing conflict between the factions.
