Who Is the Owner and Founder of Original Agarwal Packers and Movers?

Shri Ramesh Agarwal is the founder behind the origins of Agarwal Packers and Movers. His journey into the relocation industry began in 1987, when he established Agarwal Household Carriers. Three years later, in 1990, the business adopted the name Agarwal Packers and Movers, laying the foundation for the brand known today as APML.

His entrepreneurial journey followed his service as an Airman in the Indian Air Force. Moving from defence service into transportation was a significant career shift, but the principles of discipline, responsibility and operational focus became relevant to the business he went on to build.

The Man With the Cap

The original Agarwal Packers and Movers brand has a recognisable visual identity: the photograph of Shri Ramesh Agarwal, the familiar man wearing a cap.

That image has become closely associated with the brand and is one of the visual elements customers may notice when identifying Agarwal Packers and Movers.

But in an age when company names, logos and photographs can be reproduced online, visual recognition alone is not enough. Customers should look at the complete company identity before booking a moving service.

How to Identify the Original Agarwal Packers and Movers

If you are searching for the original Agarwal Packers and Movers Ltd., there are several details worth checking.

1. Check the Company Name

Look for the complete name:

Agarwal Packers and Movers Ltd.

The “Ltd.” is an important part of the company's corporate identity. Customers should compare the name appearing on quotations, invoices and other documents with the official company information.

2. Check the Official Website

The official website is:

www.agarwalpackers.com

Rather than relying only on third-party directories, advertisements or search listings, customers can go directly to the official domain and cross-check company and service information.

3. Verify the Centralized Booking Number

The company's published location pages provide the centralized booking number:

9300 300 300

The same number is displayed for centralized booking on APML's official location information.

Customers should verify contact details before confirming a booking or making an advance payment.

4. Look at the Brand Identity

The familiar APML branding associated with Shri Ramesh Agarwal and the man-with-the-cap image is another useful visual reference.

However, it should be treated as one part of verification rather than the only proof of authenticity.

5. Look at the Transportation Infrastructure

APML's service identity also extends to specialized transportation solutions. Its published portfolio includes Smart Vehicles, Trucking Cube, LED/LCD boxes and Rear Lift Double Decker containers.

These solutions reflect the company's focus on developing transportation systems for different moving requirements.

How the Business Evolved

Relocation today can involve much more than transporting household furniture.

A move may include vehicles, office equipment, IT infrastructure, machinery, sensitive goods or international shipments. This has encouraged the moving industry to develop specialised packing, transportation, warehousing and logistics capabilities.

APML's current service portfolio covers household relocation, office moves, international moving, vehicle transportation and warehousing, among other solutions.

The company's transportation innovations include Smart Vehicles designed for household-goods movement and specialised LED/LCD boxes intended to provide additional protection for delicate screens.

A Business Connected to the Transport Community

The company's journey has also included initiatives beyond conventional relocation services.

Shri Ramesh Agarwal has been associated with efforts concerning India's truck-driver community. The NidraDaan Kendra at Dudu near Jaipur was established as an initiative focused on providing truck drivers with facilities for rest and basic welfare.

It reflects the wider transportation environment in which the business developed and the importance of drivers to the logistics ecosystem.

The Story Behind APML

From Agarwal Household Carriers in 1986 to Agarwal Packers and Movers in 1987, the business has evolved alongside India's relocation and transportation industry.

The founder story begins with Shri Ramesh Agarwal, while Shri Rajender Agarwal has also been part of the company's early establishment and development.

For customers searching for the original company today, the history provides context—but verification still matters.

Check the complete company name, official website, centralised number, brand identity and service information before booking.

And if you encounter multiple websites or phone numbers using similar names, don't rely on the name alone. Go back to the official source and cross-check the details.

A company may be recognised by its name, but its history, identity and official channels are what help establish which organisation you are actually dealing with.
